Mono Lisa at the Louvre in Paris France! While my friends went on a community 5k run, I scooted around EaDo in Houston, Texas. This mural couldn't have been more fitting and was taken across the street Koffeteria, a great coffee shop. This Achilles surgery has really cramped my previously very active lifestyle... until I decided I COULD still hike up a mountain with my knee scooter! It took us awhile, but I made it to the top of Sharp Top mountain at the Peaks of Otter in Virginia! My wife decided she would never again tell me what I "couldn't do"!! This was taken inside of the St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin Ireland. It was built in the 1200's and there are still services held there today! It was a very moving experience to be able to tour this cathedral. Thanks, of course, to my Knee Scooter This picture was taken outside our house in Davidson, North Carolina. I had surgery on my ankle four days before the picture was taken. When the picture was taken, my husband and I were about to go for a "walk" (me on my knee walker) around our neighborhood. I love to ride motorcycles, and I really miss being able to ride. While I am unable to ride my motorcycle for a month, my husband suggested that I should pose for a picture in my motorcycle gear and send it in to apply for this contest. Photo taken at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN for the Viking vs Lions game on October 10th, 2021 This photo was taken at a festival! I was talking to a vendor and having the time of my life! This was taken in the Long Room in Trinity College in Dublin Ireland! Built between 1712 -1732, the Long Room holds the a collection of 200,000 of the college's oldest books. Marble busts of famous philosophers and writers line the walkways. I was able to tour this magical place thanks to my Knee Scooter! I was able to take the vacation of a lifetime to Ireland because of my Knee Scooter. The doctor told me to postpone the trip but I rented a Knee Scooter and we were off! I was even able to climb up to the Cliffs of Moher with my wife. At the top we were rewarded with a incredible view and a full rainbow. This will go down as one of the most magical moments of my life. I was able to attend my yearly American Cancer Society Relay for Life walk this weekend. This was at the Thunderbirds show !
