Target Introduces Wheelchair-Friendly Halloween Costumes

- It's Almost Halloween! You know this time of year we always get some great photos of our wonderful customers enjoying Halloween. A knee walker is perfect for decorating and showing off to all your friends. Just because your injured doesn't mean your Halloween spirit has to suffer. In fact its the opposite!

Whats even cooler is the fact that Target has decided to provide something really amazing this year! Thousands of children are injured, disabled or handicap around this time every year and it can be challenging to find a costume for their wheelchair. Until now! Are you looking for the perfect Halloween costume? Well here is your chance to do so.
Target recently announced that it will be selling a line of adaptable costumes which are on sale now. These costumes are specifically designed to make it easier for kids in wheelchairs or with sensory issues to become princess, pirates and unicorns!
Out of the four available costumes that will be offered, two of them come with covers designed to attach to the side of the wheelchair. These covers create the look of a pirate ship and a princess carriage. As you can see in the picture the wheels are incorporated into the design on both the pirate ship and the carriage.
Target is likewise selling two other costumes that include a shark costume for kids with sensory issues. The reason behind this particular costume was that “it features an allover plush construction for a soft and cozy feel, and it has flat seams with no tags for sensory-friendly design” The fourth and final design is a unicorn type costume that was designed for children who have sensory issues but also has a slot for “convenient abdominal access”
Target is saying that these wheelchair friendly Halloween costumes will sell for about $30.
